Perfect, exactly what I expected. I read all customer comments so I knew grey and cream predominant colors with gold traditional pattern. Grey and cream colors muted, the striation patterns of both are mixed so you don’t have a third pattern to compete with. The gold is a true gold, flat, not shiny like a ring or mustard yellow. This rug is placed within 5 ft of a busy, dark traditional rug with bold colors. My options were limited, a solid rug or simple traditional design. I’m uploading 2 pictures of area rug purchased in addition to existing rug in living area. Also, this rug came the day after I purchased and I wasn’t ready. Just had my area rug shampooed so my furniture was displaced.

This is a great area rug. Plush and feels Much more expensive than it is. All photo shows were taken at the Same time and you can see the color looks different depending on angle. It's beautiful and works great in my space. Much more gray in it than I anticipated but I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm an avid researcher and wanted something plush for our infant to crawl on and I'm so glad we got this. It has gray undertones with beautiful gold design. It's works well with our neutral furniture. Happy with this purchase!
