Caroline Rectangle 141 cm x 201 cm Oriental Hand Woven Area Rug

A rug made of pure silk like this is a work of supreme luxury. Not only is the production of rare natural silk extremely time-consuming and expensive, but these rugs were also manufactured over a period of several months using craftsmanship of the highest quality. The density of the carpet allows for its elaborate and fine oriental design. Natural silk has a wonderful sheen, with multiple shades of colour depending on how the light hits it. The pile testifies to the high level of craftsmanship.
