Before buying the rug I queried Wayfair as to the color tones: were they more of a light Sky blue or Teal blue?... But they were not able to answer adequately (as understandably, items come from various vendors and Wayfair Customer Service can only rely on what their Vendors tell them) ... So I ordered a small rug (as basically a color sample). As a former Designer I will attest to the background being more of a (lightish) Teal Blue and defiantly NOT a light powder Sky Blue. That said, it's a very lovely rug, especially for the price...athough not sure if I'm going to order the 8 x 10
