About This Product

This natural jute runner rug adds warmth and texture to the busier parts of your home. At 60 x 180cm, this slim size works well in hallways, kitchens and entryways. It runs neatly along a galley kitchen or narrow space without taking over. It's handwoven in India on a traditional handloom, using 100% natural jute. Jute is a hard-wearing fibre, so the runner copes well with everyday footfall. The 10mm pile has a firm, textured feel underfoot, and sits low enough not to catch on doors. The natural tones suit most colour schemes, from modern to traditional, and it's fade-resistant for high-traffic areas. Your runner arrives rolled and ready to lay flat. It's for indoor use, and we'd suggest a non-slip underlay on smooth floors.

Features

NATURAL TEXTURE & WARMTH: Soft golden tones and a tactile handwoven weave bring warmth and character to hallways, kitchens and entryways.
HANDWOVEN IN INDIA: Crafted from 100% natural jute on a traditional handloom for genuine durability and an authentic, textured finish.
BUILT FOR BUSY SPACES: A dense 10mm pile and fade-resistant finish make this slimline runner ideal for high-traffic areas of the home.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON ARRIVAL: A slight earthy scent and minor edge curl are completely normal for natural jute and both settle within a few days of airing and laying the runner flat.
ADDITIONAL INFO: 100% natural jute runner, handwoven in India, for indoor use. Non-slip underlay recommended on smooth floors. Vacuum without a beater bar. Dimensions: 60cm (W) x 180cm (L), 10mm pile. Weight: 2.95kg.

Rug Size:Rectangle 100 x 150cm

I do love the rug, however, it is a darker shade than the picture and thicker than I expected. It has frayed in a few spots already after only having it down for a week or so, but thats expected (its a heavy traffic area) and I suppose it adds to the rustic boho look. It did smell quite damp when I first opened it but it didnt overpower the room and the smell has now gone. Overall , even if it is different to what I expected, I am still pleased with it.
