The area rug is a great color and is soft (not scratchy). We assembled a sectional couch and moved pieces around a lot and I assembled a heavy coffee table on it and I was impressed that only a few lose threads that came up. Also, it flattened out after a few days so I am happy with this area rug and will likely order another one.
