This is a lovely chunky rug but I wouldn't really call it brown. It's more like a dark grey bordering on black. It has quite a cool tone, which doesn't work if you were looking for a warm chocolatey brown rug (like me!). Apart from the colour which is actually fine but not what I was looking for, I do quite like it. It's quite thick and and a decent weight which I'm hoping means it won't shift about when walked on. I attach a picture in which I've tried to capture the colour.
