This is a designer rug. Machine-made and more than a rug, it was designed as a wall tapestry to incorporate in any interior. There are two levels to the abstract design: a soft and shiny top-level in grey- and silver-toned viscose and an underlying level made from chenille in more vibrant blue and yellow tones. The vibrancy of the background palette is definitely this rugs strong point, as it steals space by slashing the top part, lending three-dimensionality and character to the rug.
