Reina Geometric Wool Hand Woven Area Rug

Lovely thick wool rug, well made with hessian backing. Lovely light shade of teal.

I had such high hopes for this rug as I bought it before my renovation even started. That’s how much I like the look of it. Finally it’s all done and the finishing touches are added... now that we’ve set up, I’m shocked at how much fiber came off the rug almost instantly with vacuum cleaning. This is the third time I’ve vacuumed the whole piece (once over), and same as the 1st and 2nd time, it Filled my entire Dyson vacuum canister! That has never happened to any Quality wool rugs I’ve ever had. The rug is placed at one end of the bedroom where there’s next to no traffic. So there’s no reason why it should lose this much wool already in just 2 weeks of next to no use. It’s not a cheap rug... I insisted on wool for quality even at higher price. I came back just now, was gonna order one more for the other side, but now I don’t know how long this one will even last! It probably will lose it shape when the material is gone so quick! Minor but the color is less vivid than I’d have liked. Thanks.
