I ordered this for a kid play room and it is amazingly soft to the touch but the fabric is very sensitive to touch (see picture of a handprint). Playing with the rug has been a new favorite activity for my kids but I could see how this feature of the fabric might now work for some. Also definitely need a rug pad or ro put over carpet, it is a thin rug.

This rug radiates luxury! It is so soft underfoot, with plush pile loft. The colors work very well together and enable the rug to be adaptable to many design schemes . The color transitions occur logically in intensity, so once placed upon the floor this rug seems to ripple from one color to another rather than 'scream STRIPES'. This is an excellent choice in any room where soft luxury is a plus; especially if the colors enable a complete blending of the elements existing in the room.

Absolutely love the colors in this rug. It seems very well made and is super soft. That being said, it’s so soft that anything that goes across it makes a mark. As you can see in the pic there’s dog prints and little human prints right after I vacuum. Just something to get used to! Still really happy with it!
