Moroccan Wool Hand Woven Area Rug

Got this rug for my son’s room. Honestly the smell was awful. Tonight is the second night I am not having him sleep in his room due to the smell. I have had to open all the windows in his room during the winter just to air out the smell. If you’re buying this and it’s winter, keep in mind you won’t be able to leave it outside to air out. I do love the pattern and the color. I got a thick rug pad to account for how thin it is and it being in a child’s room. Overall I will like it in the room but the smell really was disappointing and concerning.

The website picture doesn’t match the actual product. The colors and material appear different in the pictures then they actually are. The rug is not soft. Very disappointing purchase.

Rug is really pretty but there is no backing on it, so the rug bunches so easily

We have had this rug less than 4 months and it is in a very low traffic room. Where the ends must have been woven in, they have popped up and are sticking up all over the rug (I’ve included just 3 of them for example). For such an expensive rug, I would think the ends would be woven in better.
