On the website this rug is shown in four separate photos as a lozenge pattern in several shades of grey and blue-grey (as per photo above); the order confirmation also showed the grey rug. When it arrived it was immediately clear, even without opening the transparent packaging, that it was not in fact grey - it was beige; the label confirmed this. Subsequently found on the second drop down menu on the website ("specifications") that the twelfth item of the specification was colour: beige. No beige had appeared in any photo or other text. Contacted Wayfair via chat: lots of standard corporate hand-wringing messages about wanting to set things right but in fact the person / bot was totally unhelpful, claiming that the colour was clearly stated (how many people look up the detailed specification for an inexpensive rug?) even though he / it then acknowledged that it wasn't clear and said that he / it would ask for the website to be amended. Despite all that he then wanted me to pay about a third of the purchase price for Wayfair's courier to arrange a return. I will not! I pointed out that the item was clearly misrepresented, but person / bot just carried on regardless. Terrible, terrible, customer service. If Wayfair won't reconsider and pay for return I swear won't use again.
