Outdoor Boot Scraper

This shoeboot scraper certainly adds charm to our door. It is heavy and definitely will stay put. One reviewer said theirs rusted on to the flooring. Im not going to take any chances and will spray paint my scraper black. It has an antiqueold time look and its perfect with my outside decor. Thanks Wayfair for another quality product!

I received my Pimbley Cast Iron Outdoor Boot Scraper, this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery services. The packaging, the box, was partly open and may have been damaged, at some point during shipping, not necessarily FEDEX's fault. When I opened the box up the rest of the way 2 of the machine screws were missing but, I was able to improvise and assemble the boot scraper. The boot scraper, as others have indicated, has an antique look which adds a bit of style and interest to my patio. Boot scrapers use to be a common household item for many homes in small farm towns and served a practical purpose especially if streets were not paved and mud was a normal part of daily life and people had big gardens for growing their own vegetables and berry bushes. I will be putting it out tomorrow on the patio and will get plenty of use out of it over the spring, summer and fall.

Beautiful rusted within a week and stained the concrete sidewalk.

I should not have opened the box! Box was clearly reused. And once opened, the product was too. Missing screws and item was not cared for.
