Its a little darker than expected, but the colour does go lighter depending on which way the shaggy faces. Its a heavyweight rug, and its really thick. The picture I uploaded looks like the rug isnt laid flat. It is, but thats how thick the rug is. I was pleasantly surprised by this, as with other rugs I found, you can see and feel the bottom of the rug. Definitely recommend this rug.

This rug is sooo soft that my daughter prefers to lie on it and do her homework! It makes the house look very warm and cosy and although not very thick, it is deep and soft enough to give it a very luxurious feel. It makes my home very comely. Very happy indeed!

OMG! This is pure luxury. So much nicer than I thought. The soft pile on this is so long and thick and I love the way as you move the pile you get a two tone effect. It’s amazing texture and is lovely to walk on. Mine is next to my bed in the bedroom and perfect to warm my toes over my wooden floors. You will not be disappointed if you get this. I adore the colour. Perfect for my new greyminkwhite bedroom colour revamp. I may get the smaller one for the end of the bed. Love it!

The rug is soft and lovely and the colour is calming which sets off the office perfectly. Would definitely recommend.
