This rug is lovely. It’s got a soft velvety texture but the pile is quite low so it doesn’t feel too 70s shag pile! The subtle herringbone pattern is luxurious. The pattern and colouring is as shown on purchase. I was pleasantly surprised by the feel under foot. The dimensions were spot on. I felt it was packaged with care. Very lovely product overall
