The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug made of high-quality, tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials, but it also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion -resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non -slip, but is more abrasion -resistant and lint -free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room and bedroom, but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating The high -quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle, but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra -modern rug that puts you in a good mood!

The Bidjar rug and its designs have their origin in the Kurdish part of Persia (Iran). From the area around the small Kurdish town of Bidjar. The original Bidjar rugs stand for extremely high -quality rugs that last for a very long time due to their very dense and thick knotting They have a simple elegance and fit into most environments. The "" Benares "" quality picks up on the designs of the classic Bidjar rugs. The Herati design used here features a repeating floral motif. The even design of the hand-knotted oriental rug has a calming effect on any room. The pile is made of pure virgin wool, with approx. 155,000 knots per m², a total height of approx. 12mm and a weight of approx. 5.0kg per m², making it particularly robust and hard -wearing. Due to the tight knot setting and the resulting dense pile, the representation of the pattern is reproduced in perfection. A hand -knotted rug is unique and must be seen as a work of art. The work is passed on from generation to generation and makes every rug something special. The handmade oriental rug shows slight differences in size, colour and design, clear signs of a rug as a work of art. The finest yarns, linked according to centuries of tradition, give the rugs in the THEKO® classic collection a very special look. A piece of tradition and timelessness, in an increasingly fast -paced world, is hidden behind the brand 'Theko classic'. Designs and qualities with a deep historical background that have proven themselves over the centuries. They are still made according to traditional methods and have a very special charm of nomadic culture. "
