The rug - size 140 x 200 and colour (Blue) - is exactly right for the room and looks like it was meant for it. The faux-worn appearance does not look like an affectation but more an indication that this is a well-trodden part of the room. It has added warmth and sound-proofing to a wood-on-concrete floor. Colours are subtle, picking up other teal / ochre colours in the room. My only complaint is that the weave is quite loose so it ripples a little on the floor.
