The Dhaka rug is named for the district in West Bengal where jute is farmed. This sustainable vegetable fibre is sometimes referred to as golden fibre and you can see why! Jute comes from one of the fastest-growing plant types and its long, strong fibres make it ideal for weaving. Many of our eco-friendly ranges use jute but, in the Dhaka range, it has been woven with braided detail.

The rug is very thin and cheap looking. It feels horrible to walk on and has the texture of an inexpensive car mat. I bought it for the kitchen . This rug is amazing. Im actually using it in my bedroom, not outside. It is soft on my bare feet. Its very easy to clean, any dirt or lint just lifts right off with a vacuum.
