The Gabbeh loom carpet is a handmade carpet that carries bright colors. Mostly you can recognize the Gabbeh rugs by the coarse weaving technique and the animal motifs, which are worked into the carpet. The sheep and goat wool is processed with natural and strong dyes. The Gabbeh belongs to the carpets that were made by nomads and used for several purposes. The Gabbeh carpet is despite the coarse weave / loom a very soft carpet and fits wonderfully in the bedroom, hallway, and living room. The popularity of Gabbeh carpets increased enormously in the 90s.

This washable area rug is the perfect addition for those who value both style and practicality in their home décor. To maintain its bright colors and soft texture, simply machine wash or spot clean as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals and direct sunlight to preserve its beauty over time.

Please roll , rather than fold when being delivered. It leaves annoying creases in the rug . But I do love it its quite funky. Elizabeth. Kidderminster, GB. Tue Sep 29 2026
