Fabulous, hard wearing natural rug. Not soft to walk on, however, it is actually quite rough under foot but we use it in a high traffic area which is practical and looks good in the room. It was difficult finding a natural rug that had rave reviews so this was a gamble but I am happy with my choice. No smell and I layed it upside down for half the day and it was almost perfectly flat when I flipped it around. Slight curling on one side that can easily be fixed with some double sided tape..
