Fabulous, hard wearing natural rug. Not soft to walk on, however, it is actually quite rough under foot but we use it in a high traffic area which is practical and looks good in the room. The perfect anchor for a breezy seating group or dining room ensemble, this understated sisal area rug lends a touch of simple sophistication to any space. Let it be the foundation for a glass-topped coffee table in the living room, then outfit the ensemble with clean-lined linen sofas, striped armchairs, and weathered chests to round out your aesthetic in style. For an added dash of nautical appeal, top off your tabletops with weathered buoy accents and muted floral bouquets, then add striped Fouta blankets and sail flag-inspired throw pillows around the seating group for a dash of marina-worthy flair. If you're outfitting your dining room, simply set this rug under a weathered table, then arrange burlap runners and navy blue placemats to complement the neutral maize and linen tones. More than anything else, area rugs are art for your floors: They create the mood of your decor, guide the layout of your furniture, and establish a colour scheme to follow (or rebel against). A new rug can, and will, dramatically change a room – the fun part is picking the one you love! This one for example: is handwoven in a geometric pattern in a beige and yellow colour palette. It is crafted from jute and cotton. To clean this piece, we recommend professional cleaning when needed.

Sisal is known for its strong, durable, and hardwearing properties, making our Sisal rugs the ideal rug to put in any high-traffic areas such as your hallway, living room, and kitchen. With a woven construction and classic border in a complementary colour, this Sisal rug will add style and comfort to any area of your home. Choose from a range of four colours. Due to the latex backing, these rugs don’t need any underlay added. Regular vacuuming with a strong brush suction is all that is needed for daily care of sisal and seagrass carpets. The beater-type cleaner is not as effective due to the weave. The strong suction of the vacuum pulls out the fine dirt which has accumulated between the fibers. Sisal is super absorbent and will hold onto liquids. If a wet sisal rug doesn't dry completely, it can develop mold and mildew so it's important to use as little water as possible when cleaning. If your sisal rug does end up getting wet, allow it to dry completely before placing it back on the floor. How to dry clean your sisal rug 1. Begin by sprinkling baking soda or corn flour on top of the rug. 2. Leave the powder to sit on the rug for about one hour in order to absorb all the dirt.3.Shake the rug to remove excess powder. 4. Afterwards, use the upholstery brush to vacuum the rug.

Love it.. Jane Ward. Newbury. Mon Oct 05 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the size is great just what we wanted. and with it being jute it’s a little rough and i won’t keep it in this space. but its very thin and did roll flat right away. however the reason im not giving it five stars is solely due to its not a true grey it has a green tint. the quality truly isn’t worth the price..
