Fabulous, hard wearing natural rug. Not soft to walk on, however, it is actually quite rough under foot but we use it in a high traffic area which is practical and looks good in the room. Only reason I havent given 5 stars is that some of the weave has come apart.. Sharon. Burton-on-trent, GB. Sat Jun 13 2026

This double sheepskin from New Zealand is very decorative and adds warmth and coziness to your home. The skin is of very high quality, which can be felt in the thickness of the soft wool. This sheepskin differs from other sheepskins as it consists of two skins that are sewn together. This is not noticeable, because it is made with very strict accuracy in accordance with the hair length and thickness of the fur. The sheepskin is easy to maintain and as long as you make sure to maintain it occasionally, you will have skin that lasts a lifetime.

really nice, but smelled a bit weird for a few weeks when first opened (literally like lamb meat, which I suppose is fitting and..... not unexpected? But I hate lamb so that was hard to stomach for me). Beautiful colour; a cream rather than the yellow-tinged ones that are often sold (nice in their own right, but I specifically wanted cream).. This rug featuring a beautiful mixed colour with the distinctive tight curly coat. An extremely versatile rug that looks amazing in any location - a luxury statement piece that would suit any home.

Natural Sheepskin Rug Quad - Soft, Fluffy, Thick & Shaggy Large 4 Pelt Sheepskin Gorgeous white large sheepskin rug sewn from 4 British Lambskin. Sizing is 190 cm x 110 cm approximately but please allow a few differences due to slight variations in animal sizing. Each rug is quality checked before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction. Keeping it Fresh For general maintenance try to get into the habit of giving your rug a good shake and brush every so often. Taking it outside for a hard shake will dislodge any dust and dirt that has built up in the fibers. After a while, you may notice that your rug is looking a little less lush and fluffy than it once did because it has become matted over time. Solving this is simple, give the rug an occasional brush and the fur should stay in good condition. A specialty hide brush is the best thing to us for this, they are reasonably cheap and a must-have investment if you want to make the most of any sheepskin product. Spot Cleaning Accidents will always happen and the best thing you can do is be prepared. If something is spilled on your rug, having the right products around means that you’ll be able to strike quickly before a stain has the chance to set in. Immediately after a spill, blot the area with a clean dry cloth. If this doesn’t work take a damp cloth with some sheepskin detergent and gently scrub the area in the direction of the fur. This method should remove most minor stains. Being prepared here really is the most important thing. A specialist sheepskin detergent is the only product that will remove a stain while still protecting your rug. They will be gentle so as not to do any damage and may contain ingredients such as lanolin (a fat naturally found in wool) that will restore the natural softness of your rug. Drying Always leave your rug to dry naturally, away from direct sources of heat. If your rug is wet the best thing to do is stretch it out on a flat surface and leave it there. Do not use heat such as a hairdryer or radiator and don’t even leave it in the sun. Too much heat on a wet sheepskin can cause the leather underside to harden, shrink, or warp. The best to avoid this is to not get it too wet in the first place! If you care for your sheepskin rug, it should stay in beautiful condition for years. If you love it, it will love you back!
