When I ordered this rug I didn't read the description properly, so didn't realise that the rug is made of PVC. When it arrived then (promptly I hasten to add), I was shocked that it was plastic. But I put it down in my little office and was pleasantly surprised; it didn't slip on the vinyl floor and when the dog decided to christen it (!) I popped it in the kitchen sink and washed it.
