This collection is inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove them. Turn the carpet occasionally to equalize wear.

This rug is very thin, but that is what I wanted. I bought 3 different sizes for my kitchen and sunroom. I love the colors. My only negative is that they have a nap, kind of like velvet. From one ongle they look dark and another they look light. That means when you sweep or even walk across them, you see light and dark patches. Purchased the 9x12' rug for our living room/play room and it looks really good. The rug feels soft, did not smell for too long (it's made of plastic), and the colors are subdued. We have a 3 year old and a dog and the rug is in a high traffic area. I think it will hold up well. Can't beat the price.
