The blue is a little lighter than shown (although with a synthetic rug on the floor, you get a lighter, silvery sheen which I like). It's really pretty and soft, and does the job. My only complaint is that the individual fibers are thicker and nappier than they look online - a little more like a bath towel than a thick, lush rug. The pile goes in various directions, making the texture a little choppy. But it looks great in the room and my boys love playing on it.
