With its neutral colour and subtle style, this area rug is ideal for living rooms, entryways, and bedrooms. An all-over ivory and beige colour adorn this rug with slight variegation for a touch of texture. Handmade from wool, this piece features a tufted construction and a cotton and latex backing. It has a low 0.7cm pile that's perfect for rolling out in high-traffic living rooms or dining spaces prone to occasional spills. The handmade flokati rug in natural wool is woven in the classic Greek tradition with 1.5 kilos of wool per square meter. Slight deviations in colour, dimensions, and weight are due to the production of this natural product. New wool is dirt-repellent and hard-wearing but tends to fluff. Do not vacuum off the wool fluff, but step on it. The formation of fluff decreases over time due to the matting of the surface. For smooth subfloors, you should use a carpet underlay

The sheep's and goat's wool is processed with natural and strong dyes. The Gabbeh is one of the rugs that were made by nomads and used for several purposes. Despite the coarse weave / loom, the Gabbeh rug is very soft and fits wonderfully into the bedroom, hallway and living room. The popularity of Gabbeh rugs increased enormously in the 90s.

These rag rugs are handmade in India by the barefoot college, an Ngo in rural Rajasthan. Established in 1972, the barefoot college is a non-government organisation that has been providing basic services and solutions to problems in rural communities, with the objective of making them self-sufficient and sustainable. These 'Barefoot solutions' can be broadly categorised into solar energy, water, education, health care, rural handicrafts, people's action, communication, women's empowerment and wasteland development. They are made from rags that have been left over from the garment industry and handmade on a hand-loom. They recommend that they are hand washed in a cool wash. As these rugs have been made with recycled rags they cannot guarantee that they are colour-fast. Due to the handmade nature of these products designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
