What’s old is new again in this collection. This collection is inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Each rug is power-loomed in Belgium of 100 percent organic viscose yarn in a low cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibres. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove. Turn carpet occasionally to equalise wear. Remove spills immediately.

I had this rug delivered to my office. I opened it there and HATED it. The brown color was very strongly mustard brown in person and the mustard brown was very dominant in the color palette. I was very disappointed. However, a coworker suggested I take it home and look at in my house lighting as opposed to the fluorescent lighting at work. It was a world of difference. Also, when I zoomed in on the online pic after it arrived, I realized the strong brown tones WERE in the picture, I just hadn't zoomed in when I looked at it. It is a good quality rug for the price. It is a thin rug so you could probably open a door over it but the pile is thick enough to make it feel soft under your feet. This rug has more navy and brown then grey. And the grey is more of a light blue than a grey as well. Although it was not the same as the picture I had in my head, it is a very pretty rug and works great in my space.. Angie. Maryville, TN.
