We bought this rug as we liked this and another one. We ended up sending this back , not because it wasn’t nice , it’s just the colours were slightly more pronounced than we had thought , so whilst it had a faded vintage feel to it , some areas were slightly too rich for us , but that’s personal preference. It felt robust and heavy enough for what we were looking for. We didn’t wash it , so cannot comment on that. A nice all round rug , just not what we wanted in the end, we preferred another one.. Really are washable.. come out creased but they drop out after a while.. beginning to show signs of wear at the edges but am pleased with them overall .. we have dogs so they probably get put in the machine a bit more often than perhaps otherwise might be the case so the edges wearing is maybe to be expected.. in a nutshell they have been good value and still look good!.
