Step back in time with a spot-on French look rug. Though its Tabriz medallion motif is ages-old, this pale rug with hints of lavender and grey is new. These rugs loom in Belgium of 100 percent viscose yarn in a low-cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn second-hand carpets. Yarns are specially processed to take color unevenly to impart the look of aged heirlooms. The colors are beautifully striated, lending even more old-world character. Add texture to your master bedroom or dining room with this Persian-inspired rug, finished in a grey tone and featuring a French design.

Lovely rug . Has a smell to it , hoping it will go . But it is a good quality rug. Allison. Herts. Sun May 24 2026

The Derby Collection highlights the artistry and character of authentic hand-tufted craftsmanship. Carefully hand-tufted in India from premium wool, each rug reflects traditional rug-making expertise while offering rich texture and lasting durability. This artisanal construction creates a distinctive surface and depth that machine-made rugs simply cannot replicate. The comfortable medium pile provides a plush, inviting feel underfoot, striking a perfect balance between softness and resilience for everyday living. Elegant, natural, and timeless, the Derby rug brings warmth and refined character to both classic and contemporary interiors. For optimal comfort and longevity, the use of a rug pad is recommended, while simple spot cleaning with water will help preserve its beauty over time.

There is very little to no shedding, and it adds a lovely texture to the room. It also works well as a base layer if you like to layer rugs. In lower light or rooms without much sunlight, it can take on a slightly darker sand tone. In a room with both natural and artificial lighting, the color really comes to life and shows off the texture beautifully.. Rebecca. IL. Sat Apr 25 2026

This rug is quite lovely! It's durable, has a great pattern, is quite easy to clean, and works for our space. My only issue is simply with the weight and thickness of the rug: as you can see, it doesn't just slide on our wooden floors (which is to be expected!) it also bunches up. This would work very well with a grippy carpet pad, or even as an area rug to protect carpeting underneath, but please be aware that the tendency to bunch and fold up at the corners could make this more of a tripping hazard than your standard runner..
