The Vermont Rug Collection sets the bar for refined elegance in area rugs. From a ski chalet in Stowe to a luxurious loft in SoHo, Vermont area rugs will add class and must-touch textures to room decor. Vermont is finely hand woven from pure wool with intricate raised patterns suggestive of warm Americana style.

Some people have said it’s scratchy in their reviews. I didn’t find that at all. It’s soft for this type of rug. Also, sure, it has a slight two-tone to it but overall it’s a nice basic beige/cream. I’m not sure I would call it ivory….or at least if you’re looking for something that is 100% uniform with no variation in color, this may not be for you, but it’s a nice solid rug.. Mark. Washington, Dc. Wed Oct 09 2024

Please note: This is a natural fibre rug. Depending on the batch of wool, the colour and pattern always differ slightly from the illustration. Thanks to its calm, neutral colours, this flat-woven wool rug will bring a lot of cosiness into your home. This hand-woven rug is very simple and looks good in any room thanks to its natural colour scheme. It is very easy to care for and can be vacuumed with a flat nozzle. When you use the rug for the first time, ruffles may form. Please do not pull them out, but instead cut off the overhanging wool threads with scissors. To do the Rug a favour and extend its lifespan, the rug should be used on both sides. In addition, the rug should be turned occasionally. You should use an underlay on smooth floors.

Beautiful rug. Such good quality and love the flecks of colour in the rug. Great quality.. Lydia. GB. Sat Aug 08 2026

Its alright, can be better -- Pretty to the eye but not convenient/efficient. not a big fan of the wool shedding. I read that it would take up 2-3 months for the wool rug come to normal terms (stop shedding). Its been 2 months i believe and I am impatient and annoyed with it as I continue to see balls of wool forming as people walk and shedding on our clothes. Not a good rug if you have kids for sure, and we as adults we can't just sit down on the rug (which is a main reason we bought it for our family room, especially during movie nights) and enjoy it! Therefore there should be warnings about this type of rug and/or instructions r additional tool kit for care and maintenance. Spent so much on the rug + pad and not satisfied. --- 1 YEAR AFTER , STILL NOT SATISFIED, STILL SHEDDING -- REALLY UPSET WITH THIS PURCHASE.. Ravipriya. Ajax, ON. Wed Mar 04 2020

Elegant, natural, and timeless, the Derby rug brings warmth and refined character to both classic and contemporary interiors. For optimal comfort and longevity, the use of a rug pad is recommended, while simple spot cleaning with water will help preserve its beauty over time.

There is very little to no shedding, and it adds a lovely texture to the room. It also works well as a base layer if you like to layer rugs. In lower light or rooms without much sunlight, it can take on a slightly darker sand tone. In a room with both natural and artificial lighting, the color really comes to life and shows off the texture beautifully.. Rebecca. IL. Sat Apr 25 2026

Gorgeous rug! Given my lounge a boom of colour and feels luxurious underfoot. I changed my cushion covers to accentuate my colour scheme. It’s the perfect size, perfect weight and I love the colour. When hoovering empty your hoover straight away as there is a lot of fibers that come off but it doesn’t seem to shed when you walk on it or sit on it. My dog loves it too so all in all a lovely quality rug I’m so happy with. Lynda. Guyhirn Wisbech, GB. Wed Feb 26 2025

Beautiful 9x12 rug! More of a blue-grey than the black-grey I was expecting. Diamond pattern is large (see children for scale:)). Base of the rug is woven wool and low to the floor. Shag lines are high pile - dramatically so. It’s a really fun rug! If you can, I highly recommend rolling this rug out in the driveway and vacuuming before bringing in the house. Check out that shedding (pic)! It took an hour and a half to vacuum all that. But that’s how much I like the rug - still really happy with it!. Mara. West Bloomfield, MI. Wed Aug 19 2020

Long oriental nights in your living room. "Woolen dream natural white wool rug" not only brings cosiness into your home but also the exciting charm of India into your living room. And as if that were not enough, the beautiful wool rug is an eye-catching piece that you won't want to put down.

The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug made of high-quality, tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials, but it also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion -resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non -slip, but is more abrasion -resistant and lint -free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room and bedroom, but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating The high -quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle, but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra -modern rug that puts you in a good mood!

This handwoven rug is rustically playful! Only the finest multi-stage carded virgin wool from New Zealand and Europe is used for the handwoven rug. Carding is an elaborate process in which different shades of wool are mixed by combing to create a uniform colour. The more often the process is used, the more even the shade. Since it is rolled, it hardly fluffs at all. During fulling, the yarn is treated with water and heat, which closes the surface of the yarn. Due to its intricate rustic structure, the hand-woven rug looks lively and gives the room a romantic rustic ambience.
