Floral Ophelia & Co. Oversized Rugs

Grey and beige floral fronds and lush hyacinths stand out beautifully against the dark brown pile of this plush shag by Ophelia & Co.. Power-loomed using synthetic fibres, the raised high and low pile of this lovely shag carpet creates visually alluring sculpted patterns. The ideal floor covering to add decorative balance to rustic or urban styled decor. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove. Turn carpet occasionally to equalize wear.

This rug is a beautiful floral relief rug with chenille effects. The chenille background gives a rich contrast with the pattern in vibrant viscose colours. Viscose is made from organic cellulose and feels very comfortable. After unrolling regularly vacuum-cleaning will light up the pattern.

The rug was 5cm shorter in length (got the 170cmx120cm). The pattern didn’t look as nice in person. The navy had a slight touch of indigo and didn’t fit right in my living room. It was well made and thick, but sent it back.. Natalie. Sandwich, GB. Sat Apr 26 2025
