This China rug adapts pattern elements from the old Chinese art of knotting and translates them into an unmistakable modern style. Before buying the rug I queried Wayfair as to the color tones: were they more of a light Sky blue or Teal blue?... But they were not able to answer adequately (as understandably, items come from various vendors and Wayfair Customer Service can only rely on what their Vendors tell them) ... So I ordered a small rug (as basically a color sample). As a former Designer I will attest to the background being more of a (lightish) Teal Blue and defiantly NOT a light powder Sky Blue. This rug is a woven floral vintage rug in viscose with fine details. The short pile has a very soft and rich velvet feeling and is made of organic material. The regenerated flexible cotton backing and silky shine give the rug the appearance of a Persian silk rug. As viscose is a natural fiber it is recommended to vacuum-clean the rug regularly to keep it in excellent condition.

This rug is a beautiful floral relief rug with chenille effects. The chenille background gives a rich contrast with the pattern in vibrant viscose colours. Viscose is made from organic cellulose and feels very comfortable. After unrolling regularly vacuum-cleaning will light up the pattern.
