Floral Viscose Oversized Rugs

What’s old is new again in this vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colors to camouflage stains and flaws. Each rug is power loomed in Belgium and 100% viscose yarn in a low-cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. The yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

Before buying the rug I queried Wayfair as to the color tones: were they more of a light Sky blue or Teal blue?... But they were not able to answer adequately (as understandably, items come from various vendors and Wayfair Customer Service can only rely on what their Vendors tell them) ... So I ordered a small rug (as basically a color sample). As a former Designer I will attest to the background being more of a (lightish) Teal Blue and defiantly NOT a light powder Sky Blue. That said, it's a very lovely rug, especially for the price...athough not sure if I'm going to order the 8 x 10. Yvonne. White Plains, NY. Wed Jun 26 2019

This was nice but the color blue was the wrong shade for my decor.. Robert. Mon Nov 25 2024

This China rug adapts pattern elements from the old Chinese art of knotting and translates them into an unmistakable modern style. The flower patterns in the background are so delicately worked out that they are reminiscent of old Chinese porcelain of the Qing dynasty and give the rug an elegant touch. The colour-contrasting border of the pattern is accentuated by circular flower vignettes and gives the rug a stylish frame. This China rug goes well with both vintage and modern interiors. Lovers of the Japanese style will find the perfect addition to the floor with this rug. The design looks subtle and elegant at the same time due to the ecru-coloured background and the soft colour tone in the border. The fine look is underlined by the delicate shine of the viscose. "

This cuddly velvet carpet is a beautiful piece for any living area. The high-quality workmanship and high-quality viscose-cotton blend give this rug a pleasant feel. The glossy, mottled surface is further enhanced by the gorgeous design, as well as the colour-matched seams on the long sides and the fringes on the width sides. This all comes together to round off the picture perfectly. The rug can also be used in all living areas with underfloor heating. Please note that the colours shown on your monitor may differ slightly from the product's actual colours.

This rug is a beautiful floral relief rug with chenille effects. The chenille background gives a rich contrast with the pattern in vibrant viscose colours. Viscose is made from organic cellulose and feels very comfortable. After unrolling regularly vacuum-cleaning will light up the pattern.

This rug is a woven floral vintage rug in viscose with fine details. The short pile has a very soft and rich velvet feeling and is made of organic material. The regenerated flexible cotton backing and silky shine give the rug the appearance of a Persian silk rug. As viscose is a natural fiber it is recommended to vacuum-clean the rug regularly to keep it in excellent condition.

This is a beautiful rug! I love it! Definitely recommend.. Elaine. London, GB. Thu Oct 22 2020
