I ordered 2 rugs. They were despatched separately. The small one arrived first rolled in polythene but once down it only took about 30 mins until it was lying flat. The colours and pattern were as in web site pics. I'm pleased with them. Tracking differed with GLS delivering on the estimated date but communication having stopped half way through. This rug is a little more Shabby Elegance than others that we offer but they are of great value. If you are a hippy or a hippy chick you will probably love them. Cover a huge space for very little money or fill that little gap in the porch. Conceal a tired-looking floor under bright colours or spread them out in your tent. These rugs are great for bringing a splash of colour to your home or camping adventure. They are hand-loomed in India with multi-coloured fabric so everyone is different - and the fact that they are made with recycled materials is a great touch! Remember that the random fabric content means that they should be treated as non-colour fast especially if they have become damp - so please take care to avoid colour transfer onto other surfaces.

It is a beautiful rug and very soft! Colors have just a little washed out look, which I like, but very colorful as shown! It came folded, but rolling it up for day before laying flat did the trick in getting it to lay flat. The only negative is that the width of the rug is not 9 feet (I bought the 9x12), but around 8'x10 1/2!!! If you purchase a rug pad, allow for that. Also, since this rug is a low pile, and my rug pad was 1/4" thick, I had to trim off 6 inches from the width of the pad and even 6 inches from the length of the pad so that the rug would lay flat at the edges. UPDATE: I was wrong about my measurements. My new rug is not 9x12 as ordered, but 8'8" x 12". LOVE the rug so much, I've ordered another for the dining room!. Terry. Kingwood, TX. Thu Jul 18 2024
