Hand-Woven Teal Extra Large Rugs

The Gabbeh Lola rug is a handcrafted rug that features radiant colors. You can usually recognize Gabbeh rugs by the coarse weaving technique and the animal motifs that are worked into the rug. The sheep's and goat's wool is processed with natural and strong dyes. The Gabbeh is one of the rugs that were made by nomads and used for several purposes. Despite the coarse weave / loom, the Gabbeh rug is very soft and fits wonderfully into the bedroom, hallway and living room. The popularity of Gabbeh rugs increased enormously in the 90s.

Vibrant, heathered colours illuminate abstract interpretations of traditional motifs to create the extraordinary look of Williston Forge's Newagen collection. Classic to contemporary, the entrancing appearance of the rug enriches the decor of any room. Williston Forge's area rugs are one million point weave density, finely serged on the sides, and cross-woven to create a unique horizontal abrash for each rug in this exceptional Williston Forge collection. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove them. Turn the carpet occasionally to equalize wear. Duquette pay homage to the weaver's art with the classic blanket plaid in the designer's unique fashion-forward palette. The special weave created for Thom's outdoor rug collection imparts a hand-made look to rugs machine-woven of recycled plastic bottles.

I needed a nice outdoor rug that would be easy to clean, relatively thin and able to withstand wet and dirt from those entering the front door from outside. The color is as shown. Almost has a basket like texture as opposed to a "rug." I do recommend a rug pad or something to keep it in place as it is quite thin and slips easily. Especially with dogs. I do recommend it if what I described sounds like a fit. If you seek a cushy soft rug, look elsewhere. Pattern and colors are great if it's your style!. Lauren. Saint Louis, MO. Tue Feb 11 2014

What’s old is new again in this collection. This collection is inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Turkish designs.

The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug made of high-quality, tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials, but it also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion -resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non -slip, but is more abrasion -resistant and lint -free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room and bedroom, but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating The high -quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle, but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra -modern rug that puts you in a good mood!
