This is a lovely chunky rug but I wouldn't really call it brown. It's more like a dark grey bordering on black. It has quite a cool tone, which doesn't work if you were looking for a warm chocolatey brown rug (like me!). Apart from the colour which is actually fine but not what I was looking for, I do quite like it. It's quite thick and and a decent weight which I'm hoping means it won't shift about when walked on. I attach a picture in which I've tried to capture the colour.. Caroline. Camborne, GB. Tue Jul 07 2026

Handcrafted in India from natural fibers, this eye-catching power-loomed rug adds sophisticated style to any corner of your well-appointed home. Its rust-hued colour palette pairs perfectly with warm wood floors for a contrasting look, while its understated silhouette blends effortlessly into any casual or formal aesthetic. Lean into this piece's versatility by adding it to a nautical entryway ensemble comprised of a clean-lined console table topped with mermaid figurines and metal candle lanterns. Adorn nearby walls with weathered oar decor and vintaged map canvas prints for an antiqued take on the seafaring style, then match it with a shimmering sunburst mirror for contrasting flair. Equally at home defining space in the den or anchoring high traffic areas in the living room, this handsome rug is a must-have addition to your space.
