Hand-knotted carpets are all oriental carpets. Oriental carpets stand for quality and originality. Every single hand-knotted carpet carries its own history and is absolutely unique. The production of carpets has travelled a lot around the world and became popular with the Indian people when they passed through in the 16th century. Many types of carpets that are knotted in India are visually leaning heavily on Persian carpets. Another important note is that hand-knotted carpets are always special unique pieces. This means that slight variations in design, colour and size are possible.
