The short pile rug is specially designed for a young, carefree existence and features young, modern colours. This makes it an ideal choice for furnishing a casual teenager's room. The polypropylene synthetic fiber is easy to clean and vacuumed. Stains can be easily dabbed out of the short fibers with a damp cloth. The antistatic effect of the fibers binds fine dust and lets allergy sufferers breathe a sigh of relief. The fine dust load in the air is reduced by a factor of two compared to hard floors (Society for Environment and Interior Analysis GUI, 2006).

This stair carpet runner is a twist pile that has been constructed with a 2 ply yarn. A twist pile is the most commonly used style of carpet manufacturing. The carpet runner is a cut pile, this essentially means that each tuft stands individually, and if one tuft was to come loose then it would not affect the tuft next to it. A cut pile is a very popular choice for pet owners, as the pet's claws can not catch the pile, unlike a loop pile which could potentially snag if a loop was caught by a claw. The pile of this carpet runner is quite close, this makes the carpet less prone to flattening or crushing. It has been classified as a heavy domestic product, which means that it is suitable for high-traffic areas in all domestic locations, especially the staircase. This stair carpet runner has latex, gel backing. This means that this carpet runner is non-slip and will not move on hard floorings such as Wood, Vinyl, or Ceramic Tiles. It is also anti-slip on carpet but the effectiveness depends on the thickness of the carpet it is sat on. The thicker the carpet, the less effective it will be. Whilst being non-slip, the backing is also 100% waterproof and rot-proof. This ensures that the carpet will not shrink or wrinkle once it dries out from being wet. The texture of this carpet is soft and smooth, it is comfortable to walk on. Whilst soft and smooth, it is very durable and practical. The carpet is made using a fibre called Polyamide. Polyamide is a man-made fibre that has good properties and advantages. This carpet stain resistant and resistant to fading from UV sunlight. It is anti-static and mothproof. The product has a low radius of ignition and has been hot nut tested to comply with(BS 4790).

Quick delivery. The carpet was exactly as it shows in the picture. Anonymous. Haverfordwest, GB. Sun Nov 15 2020

It’s nice and soft, comes folded which I thought was weird. It’s not very thick but does the job, would have preferred it thicker. Overall a nice enough rug.. Anonymous. Thu Oct 01 2026

This floor carpet runner is a loop that has been made for durability. A loop pile is becoming one of the most popular styles of carpet weave, due to the value for money that it represents. The weave is made so that it bounces back when walked on almost like a spring effect, this means that the pile will not flatten down easily and maintain its look for many years to come. The pile of this carpet runner is very tight-knit, which makes the carpet less prone to flattening or crushing. It has been classified as a heavy domestic product, which means that it is suitable for high-traffic areas in all domestic locations, especially the hallway. Whilst being non-slip, the backing is also 100% waterproof and rotproof. This ensures that the carpet will not shrink or wrinkle once it dries out from being wet. This runner matched perfectly with my sisal wool stairs carpet. I was looking for something with a black trim also as I have some black on the banisters. Great quality and arrived quickly and well wrapped. First experience with Wayfair and won’t be my last. Updated Slightly reduced my rating as there is potential for the wool to come loose. I had to trim a strand. Hoping it doesn’t start fraying.. Lesley. Dublin. Fri Jan 24 2025

No matter which room you’re decorating, an area rug helps pull it all together. This design, for example, features a quatrefoil trellis motif in subdued hues of gray and white, making it a perfect pick for modern spaces. It’s crafted from fade- and stain-resistant polypropylene with a 1 cm pile height, so it encourages comfort underfoot while remaining easy to clean with regular vacuuming. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad.

This stair carpet runner is made using a flatweave technique and is made for maximum durability. A flatweave is more commonly known as a basketweave. Traditionally, flatweave carpets are made using natural fiber such as sisal or wool. However, this carpet is made using a man-made fiber (polypropylene) that is a fraction of the price of a naturally made carpet, but just as durable. The pile of this hall carpet runner is extremely durable and will not flatten down as there is no pile to do so. Due to the cleverly woven construction of this pile, this is great for pets as the runner is pretty much indestructible.
