The short pile rug is specially designed for a young, carefree existence and features young, modern colours. This makes it an ideal choice for furnishing a casual teenager's room. The polypropylene synthetic fiber is easy to clean and vacuumed. Stains can be easily dabbed out of the short fibers with a damp cloth. The antistatic effect of the fibers binds fine dust and lets allergy sufferers breathe a sigh of relief. The fine dust load in the air is reduced by a factor of two compared to hard floors (Society for Environment and Interior Analysis GUI, 2006).

This floor carpet runner is made using a flatweave technique and is made for maximum durability. A flatweave is more commonly known as a basketweave. Traditionally, flatweave carpets are made using natural fiber such as Sisal or Wool. The pile of this hall carpet runner is extremely durable and will not flatten down as there is no pile to do so. Due to the cleverly woven construction of this pile, this is great for pets as the runner is pretty much indestructible. It has been classified as a heavy domestic product, which means that it is suitable in high-traffic areas in all domestic locations, especially the hallway. This floor runner has latex, gel backing. It is also anti-slip on carpet but the effectiveness depends on the thickness of the carpet it is sat on. The thicker the carpet, the less effective it will be. Whilst being non-slip, the backing is also 100% waterproof and rot-proof. This ensures that the carpet will not shrink or wrinkle once it dries out from being wet. This floor carpet runner is ideal for hallways, kitchens, and caravans. The texture of this carpet is fairly coarse, it has a firm feel and offers little comfort. This product is not made to be luxurious, it is made to be very durable and practical. If you want a low-maintenance product that will look great and will last for many years then this is the product for you.

Robust rug as described but pricey.. Henry. GB. Tue Jan 09 2024

The strong and carefully selected colours of this rug combine with its classic vintage design. This rug finishes off every style of furnishing without sinking into the background. It also fits perfectly into a modern furnished home. Thanks to the high-quality workmanship from valuable materials, this rug is particularly durable and easy to clean. Most stains can be easily removed with commercially available carpet foam. The colour-matched border in a handmade look perfectly frames the design. The rug can also be used in rooms with underfloor heating. Please note that the colours on your monitor may differ slightly from the rug's actual colours.

Lovely colours in this rug but the quality isn’t quite as good as I have had in the past from wayfair. Just got this rug to go at the door of the bed so that won’t matter too much. You would need a non slip Matt to go under this if it was going on wood or laminate flooring as it’s quite sloppy on those surfaces. Emma. Perth-shire, GB. Tue Oct 13 2020
