The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug is made of high-quality tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials but also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion-resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non-slip but is more abrasion-resistant and lint-free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room, and bedroom but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating. The high-quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra-modern rug that puts you in a good mood!

This is beautiful, proper wool rug and feels like it’s been well made. Bella. Clay Cross Chesterfield, GB. Mon Sep 07 2026

This distressed area rug brings a stylish foundation to your bare floors. It's power-loomed in Turkey from a blend of polyester and polypropylene, making it ideal for any mess-prone area of your home. The rectangular border and abstract motif in neutral hues of grey and khaki are perfect for modern spaces. Plus, its low 1.2cm pile height is great for spots with high traffic like the bathroom or kitchen. And to keep this area rug in one place, they recommend pairing it with a rug pad.

It is a soft eye-catching rug in a sophisticated and sumptuous design.

This stair carpet runner is made using a flatweave technique and is made for maximum durability. A flatweave is more commonly known as a basketweave. Traditionally, flatweave carpets are made using natural fiber such as sisal or wool. However, this carpet is made using a man-made fiber (polypropylene) that is a fraction of the price of a naturally made carpet, but just as durable. The pile of this hall carpet runner is extremely durable and will not flatten down as there is no pile to do so. Due to the cleverly woven construction of this pile, this is great for pets as the runner is pretty much indestructible. It has been classified as a heavy domestic product, which means that it is suitable in high-traffic areas in all domestic locations, especially the hallway. This stair runner has a latex, gel backing. This means that the carpet runner is non-slip and will not move on hard staring such as wood, vinyl, or ceramic tiles. It is also anti-slip on carpet but the effectiveness depends on the thickness of the carpet it is sat on. The thicker the carpet, the less effective it will be. Whilst being non-slip, the backing is also 100% waterproof and rot-proof. This ensures that the carpet will not shrink or wrinkle once it dries out from being wet. This stair carpet runner is ideal for hallways, kitchens, and caravans. The texture of this carpet is fairly coarse, it has a firm feel and offers little comfort. This product is not made to be luxurious, it is made to be very durable and practical. The carpet is made using a fiber called polypropylene. Polypropylene is a man-made fiber that has fantastic properties and advantages. This carpet is 100% bleach-proof and stain resistant. It is also resistant to fading from the UV sunlight. It is anti-static and mothproof. The product has a low radius of ignition and has been hot nut tested to comply with (bs 4790). This is the most durable man-made gel back carpet runner. If you want a low-maintenance product that will look great and will last for many years then this is the product for you.

Had this for over a year now on my stairs and it’s doing great. I have a big family and lots of guest always and it’s doing really great.. Bulon. London, GB. Thu Jan 16 2025

This Rug is a true all-rounder for any living area! Whether it's outdoors or indoors, its high-quality processing means it cuts a fine figure everywhere. The synthetic fibers used are also resistant to UV rays and moisture, while the runner is very easy to care for even the most stubborn stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth or standard carpet foam. This rug is also suitable for use on floors with underfloor heating.

Born from the combination of Italian design and Swedish technique, this rug is produced with artisan care using frames for jacquard. Perfectly washable. All their characteristics remain unaltered over time, including colours and designs.

This rug stands out thanks to its pastel lime green colour. The natural colour scheme of the Kaspar handmade shag rug allows rooms to breathe a noticeable sigh of relief and brings a particularly lively ambience to your home. Nordic, relaxed and loose at the same time, the Kaspar rug makes an impression with its stylistically confident and robust rounded yet angular design. Handmade and dyed according to ecological principles, the rug is a true focal point and can be easily incorporated into your home. This is a touch of nature for your home.

A beautiful, sophisticated felt circular rug - highly unusual - dense but lightweight, hence easy to move around. It gives an edgy look to the place where I've positioned it, but I'm likely to relocate it from time to time. I've given 4 instead of 5 stars because the green is not as dark as I thought it would be - but I like it!. Vivette. London, GB. Fri Mar 15 2024
