You get what you pay for. Rug is rolled up pretty tight when delivered, and it’s very thin, so the bumps are taking a while to flatten out. I had it upside down and put heavy pots on it to get the major curl at the edge of the rug out, and that seemed to help. But it didn’t work on all of the bumps. I’m hoping over time they settle. Also, the edges aren’t a straight line. However, this is all fine for me, as I put it in my high-traffic kitchen over a very thick, high-quality rug pad, for comfort. I replace the rug every 2-3 years, as they get stained and gross. So I chose inexpensive rugs, and expect them to be worth what I pay for. We just bought all new living room furniture in the blue and grey family, but I really wanted a pop of color in the room and this rug is unbelievably beautiful! I can't wait to get some pictures on the wall to tie in the golds, oranges, and purples. The texture feels like traditional wool, but the area that is golden/orange is raised and feels very soft and silky. It's a very heavy rug, so it stays in place.. Barbie808. Belleville, MI.
