Can't say I have really been able to test this rug out as typical British weather hasn't allowed us to use it outside as of yet. I intend to use it for picnics once the weather picks up and can have a family barbecue outside in my garden. The material is not rough but not soft either, but comfortable to sit on. Wasn’t sure we needed an outdoor rug… but now it’s here, we can’t imagine the garden without it. It sits perfectly under the furniture like it was born for that exact job. Instantly makes the space feel more finished, more comfy — like we accidentally created a VIP lounge for garden chilling. It’s tough, looks great, and hasn’t flown away once (unlike my old washing line). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good size measuring at roughly 170cm x 120cm (5' 7" x 3' 11") to sit upto around 6/8 kids or 4 adults. Can't say I have really been able to test this rug out as typical British weather hasn't allowed us to use it outside as of yet. I intend to use it for picnics once the weather picks up and can have a family barbecue outside in my garden. The material is not rough but not soft either, but comfortable to sit on.
