This rug that’s old is new again in a vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Each rug is power loomed in Belgium of 100 percent viscose yarn in a low-cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add European character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

Bought this for my son over a year ago. He has a large grate platform outside his side door at his apartment. He has a dog and the grate had large openings which seemed to bother the dog's feet. Made of durable polypropylene, the fabric scores points with its robust and easy -to -clean properties. It has also been tested in accordance with the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® guidelines and is therefore free from harmful substances and not harmful to health.

Recently bought this rug for my living room and I LOVE this! I was a bit worried due to it being natural and therefore colour may be off white or not the same colour throughout that it would look dirty but actually it’s such a colour that normal wear and tear doesn’t show up. It looks beautiful and is very sturdy, I have a cat and a house rabbit and it’s remained pristine, when my rabbit got mud on it, it hoovered up when dry, when I tripped and dropped coffee splash on it, a spray of vax spot wash immediately got rid of it. Unlike other posters I haven’t noticed any fluff coming off of it? All in all it’s expensive but it’s so well made and has been easy to spot clean so far and looks sturdy and works so well in my house that it’s 10000% worth it and I expect it to last until I die :-) worth the money a tonne over.
