This is a great rug for the price - ordered the runner 80x220 for our kitchen. It's not soft to touch but also not super rough, seems to handle splashes well. We recommend re-rolling the rug in the opposite direction to how it arrived and leaving it next to a heat source for 24-48 hours to remove any folds or creases from the protective packaging.
