I got this because I liked the pattern and colours but I have to say there are many parts to rug that look threadbare / like tufts are missing (unless it’s meant to be like that) and the edges are not straight to more than one corner. However I decided to keep it as for the price even if it lasts 2 years I will be happy! Colours in my rug are navy blue, duck egg blue, orange, golden yellow, white, magenta and there are subtle hints of a mid grey in there! What’s old is new again in Bloomsbury Market’s Emmie collection of rugs. This collection is inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove them. Turn the carpet occasionally to equalize wear.

This rug is very thin, but that is what I wanted. I bought 3 different sizes for my kitchen and sunroom. I love the colors. My only negative is that they have a nap, kind of like velvet. From one ongle they look dark and another they look light. That means when you sweep or even walk across them, you see light and dark patches.
