This is the perfect family room rug! The depth of the carpet gives it some cushioning and a great feel. We use our family room as a 2nd guest room so this carpet adds warmth to the room and soft place to land on cold mornings. The website shows a true color match. The design is beautiful and a great addition to our home. My only concern was the packaging. It had a single layer of plastic wrap which was ripped in transit and left a dirt stain on the rug. However, this carpet cleaned right up with the initial vacuuming and looks spectacular. Great bargain for the price, do not hesitate to add this to your home!. Amanda. Hope Valley, RI. We bought this rug on Monday and it was delivered Thursday along with the new sofa. The size of the rug pulls the furniture in the room together and even makes the room appear larger. The color, size and design is exactly what I was looking for. The rug is a bit thin but that's ok, because I didn't want anything too expensive and it is in a rarely used guest room. It took 3-4 days for the corners to stay down and for the odors to gas off, but now it smells ok. The one thing that bothers me about this rug is that there is a nap to it and if you rub the rug against the nap, it makes it look dirty/like there are spots on it anywhere the fibers go against the nap. I would have also preferred it if the pattern ran the width of the rug, rather than the length, but I knew the pattern direction when I bought it, so I can't really complain about that. I had such a nice surprise when my Picard Area Rug arrived early. It was even more surprise on how Amazingly, Attractive and Beautiful it is. And how it looks as if you are looking at an Abstract-Textured painting. The Primary Color is Gray with other Weathered colors mixed in. It went so Amazingly well with Gray/Light Beige/White Color Scheme of our home. The rug can be use for both Rustic or Contemporary theme. It is constructed out of Polyester/Polypropylene material and Power Loomed. The rug is Hand and Machine Made, Cut-Pile Texture and extremely soft. The rug comes in several sizes and made in Turkey. I am thoroughly going to enjoy this newest addition to our home. I can't be more enthusiastic, with this choice of area rug, which goes so well with the color scheme of our home. I really Love the Unqueness and how it resembles an Abstract Textured painting and that is was made in Turkey and extremely soft and elegant. I fully recommend this Picard Power Loom Gray Rug which resembles a Beautiful piece of artwork.
