You get what you pay for. Rug is rolled up pretty tight when delivered, and it’s very thin, so the bumps are taking a while to flatten out. I had it upside down and put heavy pots on it to get the major curl at the edge of the rug out, and that seemed to help. But it didn’t work on all of the bumps. I’m hoping over time they settle. Also, the edges aren’t a straight line. However, this is all fine for me, as I put it in my high-traffic kitchen over a very thick, high-quality rug pad, for comfort. I replace the rug every 2-3 years, as they get stained and gross. So I chose inexpensive rugs, and expect them to be worth what I pay for. The carpet feels very soft and is a really great size (160x220 cm). It is durable, moisture-, bleach- and dirt-repellent and has a practically non-abrasive pile. It is easy to vacuum despite the grooves. Small stains can be dabbed off with warm water and a few drops of soap. Now I have a real eye-catcher on my couch.
