Lovely rug. I like that it’s wool. The variations in color and pattern are beautiful. No weird odor and much less lint than other rugs I’ve ordered. It was wrapped nice and tight and laid flat immediately. Thinking of getting a smaller one to replace another area in our home. Exactly what I’ve been looking for.. Carol. Chippewa Falls, WI. I love the fact that it is made of wool, the design is nice. But I need to hover it every 2 days because little hairs come out of it and if you sit on it the hairs remain on your clothes which indicates the quality not what expected!!!. Alina. Harrow, GB. Wed Jan 15 2025

The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug is made of high-quality tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials but also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion-resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non-slip but is more abrasion-resistant and lint-free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room, and bedroom but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating. The high-quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra-modern rug that puts you in a good mood!

A lovely rug, seems very well made and a beautiful pattern. However, it is brown, rather than grey. As this is to go on a grey carpet, the colour difference is very obvious. Quite disappointing, but still a very nice rug. Judith. Hutton Brentwood, GB. Tue Aug 30 2022

Felt rug made of the finest merino wool. The wool is felted by machine and thus has an enormous hold and is absolutely robust. A carpet made of the renewable resource virgin wool is not only insulating and warming for the winter, it also provides a pleasant indoor climate. Virgin wool has a natural self-cleaning function. It positively regulates the indoor climate in a natural way and draws dirt out of the air due to its antistatic properties. The natural, renewable raw material virgin wool is naturally environmentally friendly, colorfast and flame retardant. Wool carpets have the property that they initially lose excess wool fibers from the production process (fluff). This is a natural process that quickly disappears with regular vacuuming and walking on the carpet.
