What’s old is new again in Bloomsbury Market’s Vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws.  Each rug is power loomed in Belgium of 100 percent organic viscose yarn in a low cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

A real beauty. ❤ Antique weathered look without the antique price. Has a lovely sheen. Looks gorgeous in my family room. Colors as shown. Does shed for about 6 months, but its worth it.. Kathryn. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Oct 28 2022

Really beautiful vintage design for my client’s Florida home. The colors are muted just enough so they are a background feature - this allows you to incorporate several different shades of blues/grays for the look you want. Great rug!. Ashley. Warrendale, PA. Tue Jun 16 2020

Filled with traditional artistry and finished with the aged patina of antiquity, these rugs brims with classic style. Finely detailed motifs rise through a refined, close pile usually found in the finest antique oriental carpets. The soft colour palette and persian imagery chosen for artisan strike a marvelous balance against the distressed, designer-choice patina, making these traditional area rugs the ideal choice for any fine dining area, living room or bedroom decor.

I’m not sure if we have been scammed? This is awful. The print is smudgy to the point you can’t make it out and the size is about 600mm off length and 20mm off the width. Horrible and thin.. Jessie. Reading, GB. Sun Aug 18 2024

Excellent. Gerald. By Glasgow, GB. Fri Jul 17 2026

We’ve had this rug in our family room for a year now and it still looks like new! It’s in a high- traffic room in our home and we have three kids and a dog. We needed something that would hold up well, and this rug has not disappointed. The rug is very low pile (thin) and not meant to be soft and plush so, if that is what you are looking for, this would not be the rug for you. Though thin, this rug is dense enough so you don’t see the backing. The pattern and color are beautiful and hide stains/spills. The colors are mainly a sort of teal blue and greige but there are flecks of navy in it as well. I would order this again in a heartbeat for a high-traffic area.. Kelly. Charlotte, NC. Thu May 21 2020

This rug will bring a touch of exotic to your interior thanks to its beautiful and vivid oriental pattern. Handmade from high-quality fabric, it is exceptionally soft and easy to maintain. Additionally, the distressed effect gives the rug a true vintage vibe. Put it either in a living room or bedroom to embellish your interior design with this extraordinary decorative piece and enjoy the warmth and comfort it provides.
