What’s old is new again in Bloomsbury Market’s Vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws.  Each rug is power loomed in Belgium of 100 percent organic viscose yarn in a low cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

A real beauty. ❤ Antique weathered look without the antique price. Has a lovely sheen. Looks gorgeous in my family room. Colors as shown. Does shed for about 6 months, but its worth it.. Kathryn. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Oct 28 2022

Showcasing a faded traditional design, this power-loomed rug is perfect for adding a focal point to your hallway or layering underneath your dining table. Free-spirited and vibrantly colored, Teal Area Rug brings Bohemian-chic flair to folkloric and formal Persian designs. A mix of high and low loop piles is power-loomed of long-wearing polypropylene in classic textures and trendy erased-weave looks.

Im glad I chose this rug, it adds a nice pop of color in my apartment. It also lies very flat on the floor, which is what I wanted. And very easy to clean. Helen. AR. Sun Dec 17 2023

Rug was wonderful but just too dark for our lounge.. Kevin Mccormick. Cheshire. Fri Aug 28 2026

Filled with traditional artistry and finished with the aged patina of antiquity, these rugs brims with classic style. Finely detailed motifs rise through a refined, close pile usually found in the finest antique oriental carpets. The soft colour palette and persian imagery chosen for artisan strike a marvelous balance against the distressed, designer-choice patina, making these traditional area rugs the ideal choice for any fine dining area, living room or bedroom decor.

Love this rug. Great colours and thin so perfect as a runner where a door needs to open over it.. Caroline. Cambridge, GB. Wed May 27 2026

I’m not sure if we have been scammed? This is awful. The print is smudgy to the point you can’t make it out and the size is about 600mm off length and 20mm off the width. Horrible and thin.. Jessie. Reading, GB. Sun Aug 18 2024

The rug designs have been born from previous masterpieces and have been updated with intricate detail on the three core designs. These rugs keep the distressed look and are thinning than most rugs as they are flat weaves so are perfect for under furniture for example but they are perfect as the finishing touch in any living room, bedroom or dining room.

Beautiful circle rug. Helen Theresa. London, GB. Sat Sep 26 2026

We’ve had this rug in our family room for a year now and it still looks like new! It’s in a high- traffic room in our home and we have three kids and a dog. We needed something that would hold up well, and this rug has not disappointed. The rug is very low pile (thin) and not meant to be soft and plush so, if that is what you are looking for, this would not be the rug for you. Though thin, this rug is dense enough so you don’t see the backing. The pattern and color are beautiful and hide stains/spills. The colors are mainly a sort of teal blue and greige but there are flecks of navy in it as well. I would order this again in a heartbeat for a high-traffic area.. Kelly. Charlotte, NC.
