Warm and quietly expressive, this rug carries a rose and cream palette that reads as both romantic and thoroughly modern. The abstract pattern moves across the surface with an organic fluidity — sweeping lines and soft contours that suggest movement without rigidity. There's an artistic quality to the design that feels intentional rather than decorative, as though the pattern emerged from the material itself rather than being imposed upon it. Against neutral backdrops, the blush warmth of the colorway adds depth and a subtle emotional resonance; paired with richer tones, it acts as a graceful counterbalance.

Comfortable to step on and flowing design!. Jeric. CA. Thu Apr 16 2026

What’s old is new again in Bloomsbury Market’s Emmie collection of rugs. This collection is inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colours to camouflage stains and flaws. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove them. Turn the carpet occasionally to equalize wear.

This rug is very thin, but that is what I wanted. I bought 3 different sizes for my kitchen and sunroom. I love the colors. My only negative is that they have a nap, kind of like velvet. From one ongle they look dark and another they look light. That means when you sweep or even walk across them, you see light and dark patches. I am hoping that dissipates with time as overall I am pleased with them. The photos are the same rug, different angles!. Brenda. Pittsburgh, PA. Wed Sep 12 2018
