We bought this rug as we liked this and another one. We ended up sending this back , not because it wasn’t nice , it’s just the colours were slightly more pronounced than we had thought , so whilst it had a faded vintage feel to it , some areas were slightly too rich for us , but that’s personal preference. It felt robust and heavy enough for what we were looking for. We didn’t wash it , so cannot comment on that. A nice all round rug , just not what we wanted in the end, we preferred another one.. Have nothing but great things to say about this rug! It’s beautiful and so soft. For being on the thinner side it’s still very soft and high quality.
